Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British composer and vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He's the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own musical band with 3 schoolmates, which he called White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they also participated in 2010. Although he has always had an interest in music however, despite his love for it, he wished to be a lawyer or physical therapist. As a worker in the city's pastry shop Harry Styles managed to support his family. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he sang Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The formation of the group began in 2010 and the five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The band performed songs like My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the candidates for the prize. However they were placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds to One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
