Paula Patton, an American producer and actress, is recognized for her performances as the lead character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action thriller) as well as Precious (a drama). Growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, she had lots of goals. Her mother was a movie lover and was a constant source of encouragement to her love for films when she was a kid. Paula was active with her school's cocurricular activities and especially captivated by the dramatic arts. Her favorite part was acting in stage plays together with her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School gave her many chances to perform in high school and she picked acting as a career. She was a student at the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by it. She was offered a contract for three months to produce documentaries on PBS. After she had completed the three-month assignment successfully, her first job was working in the production department for television documentaries. Next, she was going to start producing documentaries. Although she enjoyed her career, she still dreamed of becoming an actress. She began her acting career by playing a minor part in the film romantic comedy Hitch along with Will Smith. Her roles have since been seen in numerous films as well as TV shows.
