Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous skills, such as being able to act, direct production, create plays, teach, and be Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father comes from Britain, while her mother is a "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's first memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at her job. As a child, she was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, to further her acting career. Then, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. She came across Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's training held in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year 2009. Anna converted to Judaism at the beginning of January 2011, and the couple renewed their vows in the Jewish wedding in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured in CNN's top television couple list. They were also named by E! as the top TV couple of the year 2013.
