
Regina Marie Fischer (born March 7, 1974) (born March 7, 1974) is an American actress. She is well-known for portraying Pam Beesly in The Office (2005-2013). For this role she was nominated 2007 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. The show also had her as its producer. She also played Rhonda McNeil in the NBC comedy-drama series You, Me and the Apocalypse. Fischer also appeared in Splitting Up Together (2018-2019). She is currently the co-host of the podcast Office Ladies.Fischer's debut book, The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide, was published in November 2017. Fischer was raised in St. Louis and was born in Fort Wayne (Indiana). [4][5] Her mother, Anne (nee Miller), is a history teacher Her father, James E. Fischer, is an engineer. She is the younger sibling of Emily. Emily is a third-grade teacher. When she was six years old, young, she appeared in her first act. She was enrolled in an acting workshop led by her mother at Henry School in St. Louis. The workshop was also attended and conducted by Sean Gunn. She later went to Pierremont Elementary School in Manchester, Missouri, and Nerinx Hall High School, a private all-girls Catholic school located in Webster Groves, Missouri. 9 She holds a Bachelor of Arts in the field of theater and an additional minor in journalism from Truman State University, where she was initially enrolled as a pre-law history major.
